Matt Townend is a professional photographer from West London. Having spent over 10 years working as an Analyst in the City of London, Matt decided to take up his true passion of photography in May 2021. Whilst he spent his formative years in the countryside, he has a true love for the City. This well-rounded approach is reflected in his photographic work. You will often find him strolling around beautiful Richmond Park, capturing the unique wildlife, shapes, patterns and textures of this Royal Park.

"I am a true advocate of Richmond Park. It was the first place I took my love of photography seriously. I believe that it is the most beautiful of the royal parks in London and a place that has left an indelible mark in my heart. Whether it is the extensive wildlife of buzzards, kestrels, kingfishers, wild foxes and of course the stunning deer, or the rolling greenery and striking forests, it will forever be imprinted on my mind. I cannot recommend a visit more highly and if you see me wandering around, feel free to say hello."

With a passion for independent local business, Matt has already been commissioned by several, although that is not the full extent of his work. If you would like to commission work from him, whatever your photography needs, then please fill in the form on his contact page.

Unlike most photographers, Matt doesn't have any fixed prices. He prices up each piece of work individually, trying his best to cater to the budgets of his clients!
